Baldwin authorizes agreement limiting Ferguson’s judicial-circuit coverage to Habersham County

Baldwin’s City Council voted 4-0 on April 14, 2025, to approve a memorandum of understanding with the Mountain Judicial Circuit and authorize Assistant Chief Ferguson and the city’s CAO to execute it. During the discussion recorded in the meeting minutes, Ferguson said the coverage contemplated for him would extend to Habersham County, not throughout the entire Mountain Judicial Circuit.
