Baldwin’s proposed Cornelia water deal still lacks a documented final decision

Baldwin’s proposed arrangement to buy potable water continuously from neighboring Cornelia was still awaiting a documented final decision after it appeared again on the City Council’s Sept. 9, 2024 meeting agenda. The proposal described Cornelia selling and delivering water for Baldwin’s residential and commercial utility customers, with peak daily use of up to 150,000 gallons at a stated rate of $4.82 per thousand gallons.
