Baldwin’s animal-control bill topped budget after fiscal year closed

Baldwin City Council confronted a $20,997.88 invoice from Habersham County for fiscal-year 2025 animal-control services at its July 8, 2025, work session. The bill was $1,997.88 higher than the city’s $19,000 allocation and came after the fiscal year ended June 30, according to the meeting minutes.
