The story
The Town of Alto Council approved a variance for the Sheila Mathis property on Wade St, which is less than an acre, to allow a mobile home to be moved onto the lot. Councilwoman PJ Huggins made the motion, which was approved by all and was contingent on an approved perk test.
At the council's next meeting, officials reported that the perk test on the property came back approved, satisfying the condition attached to the variance.
